Course: D.Pharma

Diploma in Pharmacy or D.Pharma. is a 2-year full-time Diploma course. D.Pharma. has been designed to prepare candidates to work under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist in hospitals, community pharmacies, and other related pharmaceutical fields. The basic eligibility criteria for pursuing the course is a 10+2 or equivalent qualification in Science (Maths/Bio.). Admission to the course is based on the candidate's performance in a relevant entrance exam or merit obtained in the last qualifying exam. Typical Duties of a Pharmacy Technician: Preparing medication for dispensing and compounding pharmaceuticals, preparing aseptic products, performing inventory control, purchasing, merchandising, and record-keeping as required under such acts as the Food and Drug Act.
